Our Story

YOMI Matcha is a woman-owned brand based in Lithuania, founded in 2026.

YOMI was created during a chapter of life when I needed calm the most. As a mother of two, I was searching for more balance, tranquility, and small daily rituals that could bring peace into busy days. Matcha became that quiet form of therapy for me, a moment to pause, breathe, and return to myself. It was always there when I needed it most.

From that experience, YOMI was born, with the hope of sharing that same sense of calm, balance, and beauty with others through a simple daily ritual.

I have not made it to Japan yet, but it remains a dream of mine, to one day walk through the tea fields, meet the makers, and experience the roots of matcha where it began.

Our Matcha

We offer authentic ceremonial matcha sourced from trusted producers in Japan.

Our signature Yame First Harvest Matcha comes from Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture, one of Japan’s most respected tea regions. A blend of Yabukita and Saemidori cultivars, it is known for smooth umami, natural sweetness, fresh aroma, and vibrant green colour.

The leaves are shade grown for 14 to 21 days before harvest, then finely milled into a silky powder that whisks beautifully for traditional matcha or modern lattes, offering a smooth taste and calm, focused energy.  

Products are professionally handled and repacked in Riga, Latvia, under ISO 22000:2018 certified systems and HACCP-based food safety controls. Each batch is tested for pesticides, heavy metals, and microbiological safety before release.
